Designed for Canadian cafés, boutiques, offices, reception areas and hospitality spaces, this package is a practical choice for open ceilings, exposed structures and interiors where flush-mounted ceiling speakers are not suitable.

The DXT60 combines music playback, microphone mixing and 60W amplification in one compact desktop unit. It supports 70V and 100V commercial speaker systems and includes Bluetooth, FM radio, USB and SD MP3 playback.

The PZ50 is designed for distributed background music in commercial spaces with open or high ceilings. Selectable transformer taps allow the sound level to be adjusted for each speaker location.

Four-Speaker Tap Examples

Keep at least 20% amplifier headroom for reliable commercial operation. The recommended connected speaker load should remain at or below 80% of the DXT60’s rated 60W output.

60W × 80% = 48W recommended maximum load
Tap selection Total load Suggested use
4 × 2.5W 10W Suitable for soft background music
4 × 5W 20W Recommended for normal café or office use
2 × 10W + 2 × 5W 30W Suitable when selected areas need more output
4 × 10W 40W Safe for higher background music levels
Suggested starting setting: Set all four PZ50 speakers to 5W for a combined load of 20W. Increase selected speakers to 10W only where additional output is needed.
Use either the amplifier’s 70V or 100V output and select a matching transformer tap on every speaker. Do not connect transformer-tapped speakers to the 4Ω or 8Ω terminals.

Basic Pendant Speaker Connection

  1. Choose either the DXT60’s 70V or 100V speaker output.
  2. Connect the selected voltage terminal and COM to the first PZ50 speaker.
  3. Continue the same two-conductor cable from the first speaker to the second.
  4. Connect the third and fourth speakers using the same parallel daisy-chain method.
  5. Keep wire polarity and transformer-tap settings consistent throughout the system.
  6. Secure every pendant speaker to a suitable structural point using proper suspension and safety hardware.
