The CH430T is a 30W wide-range commercial horn speaker designed for voice paging, background music and tone signalling in indoor and outdoor installations.
Unlike a traditional paging-only horn, the CH430T uses a 4.5″ full range driver and a 100Hz–12kHz frequency response to provide fuller sound for both announcements and background music. It supports 70V and 100V distributed audio systems as well as compatible 8Ω low impedance amplifiers.
Its constant directivity horn provides controlled 90° horizontal coverage, while the IP55 weather resistant enclosure and adjustable mounting bracket make it suitable for schools, warehouses, parking areas, industrial spaces, recreation areas and other commercial applications.

Product Overview
The CH430T combines the long throw projection of a commercial horn speaker with a wider frequency range than a conventional paging horn.
Its 4.5″ full range dynamic driver is designed to reproduce both speech and background music, making the CH430T useful in applications where customers need clear announcements without giving up everyday music playback.
The speaker supports 70V and 100V constant-voltage systems with multiple selectable transformer taps. An 8Ω bypass setting also allows operation with compatible low-impedance amplifiers.
The constant directivity horn provides controlled 90° horizontal sound coverage. Its adjustable powder coated mounting bracket allows installation on suitable walls, poles or ceiling structures and lets the installer aim the horn toward the listening area.
The IP55 rated ABS enclosure supports properly installed indoor and outdoor commercial use.

Connection Notice: Confirm whether the amplifier is operating at 70V, 100V or low impedance before selecting the speaker setting.
Do not use the 8Ω position when the speaker is connected to a 70V or 100V amplifier output.
For distributed 70V/100V installations, add the wattage of all connected speakers and keep the combined load within the amplifier's rated output. Leave suitable amplifier headroom for reliable commercial operation.
Installation: Mount the adjustable bracket securely to a suitable wall, pole or ceiling structure using hardware appropriate for the mounting surface.
Attach the horn to the bracket, connect the required 70V, 100V or 8Ω input and aim the speaker toward the listening area before tightening all mounting hardware.
Important: Do not install the horn face up. For outdoor installations, angle the horn downward so rain or snow cannot collect inside the horn opening.

Add together the selected wattage tap of every connected CH430T horn speaker. The total speaker load must stay within the rated output of the connected 70V/100V commercial amplifier.

For many paging and background music systems, 7.5W or 15W per CH430T is a practical starting point. Use the 30W setting where stronger output is required.
Choose the tap based on the size of the area, speaker spacing, background noise level and available amplifier power.
Use either the 70V or 100V amplifier output and select the matching CH430T transformer setting.
Add the wattage of all connected speakers before powering the system and keep the combined load within the amplifier's rated output. Leave suitable amplifier headroom for reliable operation.
The 8Ω setting is not a transformer wattage tap. Use it only with a compatible low impedance amplifier.
Do not use the 8Ω position when the CH430T is connected to a 70V or 100V amplifier output.
