TEXONIC AD-360 Commercial Power Amplifier
The TEXONIC AD-360 is a 360W commercial power amplifier designed to provide dedicated speaker power for background music, public address and paging systems. It is a practical solution for installations where an external mixer, preamplifier or audio controller already handles the audio sources.
With 100V distributed speaker output and a separate low impedance connection option, the AD-360 can support properly designed commercial speaker systems using ceiling speakers, wall speakers, column speakers and paging horns.
Balanced audio connectivity, a LINK signal output, adjustable input level and ground lift functionality make the AD-360 useful for expanding existing commercial sound systems in warehouses, schools, offices, retail facilities and public spaces.
Dedicated Amplification for Commercial Sound Systems
When your audio system already includes a mixer, preamplifier or controller, the TEXONIC AD-360 provides the power needed to drive a compatible commercial speaker installation.
Unlike an all-in-one mixer amplifier, the AD-360 focuses on power amplification. Music source selection, microphone mixing and paging control can be handled by suitable external equipment.
Its 360W rated output allows installers to design larger 100V distributed speaker systems while keeping the combined speaker transformer tap settings within the amplifier's supported capacity.
How the AD-360 Fits Into Your Audio System
The amplifier receives a compatible line-level audio signal from the source equipment, amplifies it, and sends the resulting power to the connected speakers.
Expandable Audio Connectivity
A balanced audio input supports connection from compatible source or control equipment. The LINK output passes a line level audio signal to suitable downstream equipment, including an additional amplifier or an active subwoofer.
The LINK output is a signal connection, not an additional powered speaker output.

Front Panel Monitoring
The front panel includes an output level indicator, power switch and power LED. These provide basic operating information and make the amplifier straightforward to monitor.
Rear Panel Configuration
The rear panel provides speaker output terminals, balanced audio connections, level adjustment, ground lift and the required AC power connection.
The level trim allows adjustment of the incoming signal level by up to −12dB, making it easier to match the amplifier to compatible source equipment.
Ground Lift Function
The ground lift switch offers an option for reducing certain unwanted ground loop noises between interconnected audio equipment. It must not be used as a substitute for proper electrical grounding.
Technical Specifications
100V Commercial Speaker System Compatibility
The AD-360 is designed to deliver 360W of amplifier power for compatible commercial speaker installations. Its 100V output is useful for distributing music or announcements to multiple speakers throughout a building.
For a 100V speaker line, calculate total connected speaker power by adding the selected transformer wattage taps of every speaker on that line.
Low Impedance Speaker Option
The AD-360 also includes a separate 4–16Ω low-impedance output for compatible speaker arrangements.
When using this connection, calculate the total speaker impedance and ensure it remains within the supported range. Do not calculate low-impedance speaker compatibility using 100V tap wattages.
360W Amplifier Speaker Load Planning
For commercial 100V installations, the combined speaker wattage should remain within the amplifier's rated output power. Allowing some unused amplifier capacity provides a sensible planning margin.
Using a conservative 20% headroom allowance, the AD-360 provides a suggested initial planning target of 288W in total connected speaker transformer taps.
Example 100V Speaker Loading
| Speakers | 100V Tap | Total Load | Capacity Remaining |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12 | 10W | 120W | 240W |
| 18 | 10W | 180W | 180W |
| 24 | 10W | 240W | 120W |
| 12 | 20W | 240W | 120W |
| 18 | 15W | 270W | 90W |
| 24 | 15W | 360W | 0W |
The 360W example in the table represents the full rated output capacity and leaves no headroom. For normal system planning, select appropriate speaker taps and amplifier capacity with some reserve.
Example: Commercial Building Speaker System
A commercial building might use 24 speakers, each set to a 10W 100V transformer tap. The total connected speaker load would be:
This leaves 120W of unused rated amplifier capacity before considering other connected speakers or system changes.
How Are 100V Speakers Connected?
Commercial 100V speaker systems generally connect compatible transformer-equipped speakers in parallel across the amplifier's 100V speaker line, maintaining correct polarity.
Add all transformer tap wattages and confirm the complete speaker load does not exceed the supported amplifier capacity.
Can I Use a Different Audio Source?
Yes. A compatible mixer, preamplifier, audio controller or suitable line-level media source can feed the AD-360.
Bluetooth and network music streaming can be provided by compatible external source equipment.
Can I Add Another Power Amplifier?
Yes. The AD-360 provides a LINK output for passing the incoming line-level audio signal to compatible external equipment, including another power amplifier or an active subwoofer.
