The TEXONIC TXZCS6T is a complete two-zone commercial audio system designed for businesses that need background music and paging across two separate areas with independent volume control.

The TX60Z 60W mixer amplifier provides two independently adjustable speaker zones together with Wi-Fi streaming, Bluetooth, FM radio, USB/SD playback and 4Stream app support.

Six TEXONIC AF106T trimless 6″ ceiling speakers provide clean, discreet coverage for modern commercial interiors. A practical configuration uses three speakers in each zone, allowing sound to be distributed more evenly across two business areas.

Product Overview

This system is designed for businesses with two areas that need the same background music or paging program but different listening levels. Each TX60Z zone has its own front-panel volume control, allowing one area to operate louder or quieter than the other without requiring a second amplifier.

A typical installation uses three AF106T ceiling speakers in Zone 1 and three in Zone 2. This provides additional coverage points compared with a basic two speaker per zone layout and can be useful in longer rooms, wider spaces or areas where more even background-music coverage is required.

The AF106T uses a 6″ speaker driver and 1″ tweeter with a low-profile trimless grille. It is designed for 70V/100V commercial speaker systems and works well for both background music and voice announcements.

Recommended Two-Zone Configuration

For a practical background-music installation, configure the six AF106T speakers as three speakers in each zone. For this package, the recommended example uses the TX60Z 70V output with each AF106T set to its 5W 70V tap.

Total recommended speaker load: 30W using six AF106T speakers at 5W each on the 70V system. The TX60Z is rated at 60W RMS.
100V alternative: The TX60Z and AF106T also support 100V operation. If a 100V speaker line is preferred, use the TX60Z 100V output and select the appropriate 100V transformer tap on every AF106T speaker.
Important: The amplifier speaker-line voltage and AF106T transformer tap settings must match. For 70V operation, connect to the TX60Z 70V output and use a 70V tap on every speaker. For 100V operation, connect to the 100V output and use a 100V tap on every speaker. Do not mix 70V and 100V settings on the same speaker circuit.

Setup Notes

  1. Determine which three AF106T speakers will serve Zone 1 and which three will serve Zone 2.
  2. Plan speaker positions according to room shape, ceiling height, ambient noise and the required listening level.
  3. Confirm the 170mm / 6.7″ AF106T ceiling cutout and available mounting space before cutting the ceiling.
  4. For the recommended configuration, use the TX60Z 70V speaker output and set all six AF106T speakers to the 5W 70V tap.
  5. Connect the three Zone 1 speakers to the appropriate TX60Z Zone 1 distributed speaker connection.
  6. Connect the three Zone 2 speakers to the appropriate TX60Z Zone 2 distributed speaker connection.
  7. Maintain consistent speaker wiring polarity throughout the system.
  8. Connect the TX60Z to Wi-Fi or LAN and configure 4Stream when network streaming is required.
  9. Set the individual Zone 1 and Zone 2 volume controls to suit the listening level required in each area.
  10. Begin at a low master volume and gradually adjust the system after all speaker wiring, amplifier output voltage selection and transformer tap settings have been confirmed.
Three speakers per zone is a suggested package layout, not a fixed installation rule. Final speaker quantity and placement should be confirmed according to the size, shape, ceiling height and acoustic conditions of each area.
