Our Policy
1. Shipping Policy
Coverage & Restrictions
We ship throughout Canada and to select states in the US. If a resident of the US encounters difficulties while attempting to process a purchase, please contact us so our team can be informed about the issue. However, please note that some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
Order Processing & Delivery
Once your order is successfully placed and payment is processed, we will commence the shipping process on the next business day. Orders placed before noon may qualify for same-day shipping. Delivery times may vary depending on your shipping address. Typically, Canadian orders take 1-5 business days, while international orders may take 4-10 business days for delivery. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Keep in mind that delivery times may vary during the holiday season, and we appreciate your patience during these times.
Tracking Order
Ensure that you are mindful of your package delivery date. You will receive your tracking information within 24 hours of placing your order. As the customer, it is your responsibility to track your package and oversee the shipment process.
Free Shipping Eligibility
Items under our free shipping feature are exempt from shipping costs. However, customers residing in the following provinces/territories may not be eligible for free shipping: British Colombia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, Alberta, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Review the description of your preferred item to determine if it qualifies for free shipping, as this promotion may change over time. We appreciate your understanding.
Courier Services & PO Addresses
We work exclusively with the following courier services: Purolator, UPS, FedEx, Canpar, and ICS. Please note that these couriers do not deliver to PO Box addresses. If your address is a PO Box, we regret to inform you that we cannot dispatch your order. However, if you have provided both a street address and a PO Box address, we can proceed with shipping to the street address upon your confirmation. Any additional charges incurred due to the delivery area will be your responsibility. If an item is returned to us because the street address without the PO Box is undeliverable, deductions will be made for both the return and original shipping costs before issuing a refund, as the courier service's provided service is non-refundable.
Address Updates
If an old address is displayed as the shipping address or if information is missing, it is your responsibility to inform us before the item is shipped. If the item has already been shipped, you will be responsible for the return and resend shipping costs. If the provided address differs significantly from the original one entered, we are unable to ship to the new address provided, as we cannot override the full address on the shipping tool. In such cases, you may proceed to repurchase with the new address instead.
Order Verification
To ensure accurate and secure order processing, all orders are subject to review prior to shipment. We will verify, or cancel any order at our discretion if additional clarification is required.
Orders may be delayed or require further confirmation in situations such as:
- When the billing and shipping addresses differ significantly or cannot be verified
- When the order involves different provinces or regions
- When order details require additional confirmation for processing
Please note that orders with significantly mismatched billing and shipping information particularly those involving different provinces may be automatically cancelled as part of our standard verification process.
In select cases, our team may reach out to request additional information to proceed with the order. If we are unable to verify the details within a reasonable timeframe, the order will be canceled and refunded to the original payment method.
We appreciate your understanding, as these measures help ensure smooth and reliable order processing for all customers.
Original & Return Shipping
In the event of a change of mind and you wish to return the item, it is your responsibility to cover the resend shipping fees. The original shipping costs will also be deducted, as the courier service has already been conducted. For us to file a claim with the courier, the issue must be caused by them, such as mis-delivery, damaged items, or loss.
2. Returns & Refund Policy
30-Day Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, uninstalled or unused, with manufacturing seal intact if applicable, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
If a returned item is received opened, installed, used, or not in its original condition, a restocking fee will be applied. Restocking fees range from 10% to 40%, depending on the condition of the item upon inspection.
Due to the large size of our projector screens, we ask that customers double-check their installation area measurements and requirements before purchasing. This helps ensure the screen fits perfectly and avoids any issues.
Please note that all projector screens are final sale, unless there is a manufacturing defect. We’re happy to assist with any questions about sizing or installation prior to your purchase to help you make the right choice.
Initiating a Return & Refund Process
To start a return, please contact us at sales@texonic.ca. Provide the reason for return along with images of the unit and the order invoice. If your return is accepted, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Feel free to contact us at sales@texonic.ca for any return queries.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and inform you if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 4 business days. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
Inspection Upon Reception
We advise all our clients to inspect their orders upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, so that we can evaluate the issue and rectify it. Damages and issues reported after 5 business days of receiving the item will not be considered.
Exceptions and Sale Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as audio equipment (e.g., amplifiers or speakers), once the manufacturing seal is broken unless there's a manufacturing defect. Please contact us if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.
Exchange Process
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Shipping Fees
Returns through the online platform will not include the original shipping cost, which is deducted due to the expenses associated with shipment procedures, courier fees, and other supplies. For items purchased under the free shipping feature, the shipping cost charged by the courier will be deducted from the total amount. We'll cover the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (e.g., you received an incorrect or defective item). However, if the issue was caused by you, you are responsible for any extra charges, including deductions from the order on the shipping cost (the service of sending the package can't be refunded), and the cost for rerouting the package back to us.
