Product Overview

This DXT60 and PZ50 package is built for open commercial interiors where ceiling tiles are not available or where a suspended speaker design looks better with the room. Four pendant speakers can be spaced across the room to create balanced background music coverage.

Staff can play music using Bluetooth, FM radio, USB, SD, or an external line-level audio source. The DXT60 also supports commercial 70V/100V speaker wiring for practical pendant speaker installation.

Installation Reminder: Ceiling suspension, safety cables, and permanent speaker wiring should meet applicable Canadian electrical, building, and fire requirements.

Four-Speaker Tap Examples

Keep at least 20% amplifier headroom for reliable commercial operation. The recommended connected speaker load should remain at or below 80% of the DXT60’s rated 60W output.

60W × 80% = 48W recommended maximum load

4 × 2.5W 10W Suitable for soft background music
4 × 5W 20W Recommended for normal café or office use
2 × 10W + 2 × 5W 30W Suitable when selected areas need more output
4 × 10W 40W Safe for higher background music levels
Suggested starting setting: Set all four PZ50 speakers to 5W for a combined load of 20W. Increase selected speakers to 10W only where additional output is needed.
Use either the amplifier’s 70V or 100V output and select a matching transformer tap on every speaker. Do not connect transformer-tapped speakers to the 4Ω or 8Ω terminals.
