TEXONIC DXT60

The DXT60 combines audio playback, microphone mixing and 60W amplification in one compact unit. It includes Bluetooth, FM radio, USB and SD MP3 playback and supports 70V and 100V commercial speaker lines.

TEXONIC PZ50

The PZ50 is designed for clear distributed background music in open commercial spaces. Selectable transformer taps let the installer adjust each speaker to suit the required listening level.

Five-Speaker Tap Examples

Keep at least 20% amplifier headroom for reliable commercial operation. The connected speaker load should remain at or below 80% of the DXT60’s 60W output.

5 × 10W 50W Not recommended — exceeds the 48W design target
Suggested starting setting: Set all five PZ50 speakers to 5W for a combined 25W load.
Use the amplifier’s 70V or 100V output and select a compatible transformer tap on every speaker. Do not use the 4Ω or 8Ω terminals for this distributed speaker installation.

Basic Pendant Speaker Wiring

  1. Select either the DXT60’s 70V or 100V output.
  2. Connect the selected output terminal and COM to the first PZ50 speaker.
  3. Run another two-conductor cable from the first speaker to the second.
  4. Continue the same parallel connection until all five speakers are connected.
  5. Keep wire polarity and transformer tap settings consistent throughout the system.
  6. Secure each pendant speaker with suitable suspension and safety hardware.
