The CH30T is designed mainly for voice paging and public address applications, rather than full-range background music. Its focused sound projection makes it practical for busy commercial areas with higher ambient noise or wider coverage needs.

The speaker connects to compatible 70V or 100V commercial amplifiers. Selectable power taps allow the installer to balance horn output and amplifier load for the project.

CH30T Power Tap Examples

Add together the selected wattage tap of every connected CH30T horn speaker. The total speaker load must stay within the rated output of the connected 70V/100V commercial amplifier.

Total load = speaker tap wattage × number of speakers

Suggested starting point: For many paging systems, start with the 15W tap and increase to 30W at 100V only where stronger horn output is required.
