The TEXONIC CM80T is an 8″ coaxial two-way commercial ceiling speaker designed for background music, paging and announcements in larger business and public spaces.

It combines an 8″ polypropylene woofer with a 1″ coaxial tweeter and supports 70V/100V distributed audio systems with selectable transformer taps up to 40W. Its larger driver and 60Hz–20kHz frequency response make it a strong choice where fuller music reproduction and clear speech are required.

The CM80T is well suited to restaurants, retail stores, offices, schools, hotels, meeting areas and other commercial installations.

Product Overview

The TEXONIC CM80T is designed for commercial audio systems that need clear speech and fuller background music from an in ceiling speaker.

Its 8″ polypropylene woofer provides greater cone area for music reproduction, while the 1″ coaxial tweeter helps reproduce clear high frequencies. The two-way coaxial design keeps both drivers in one compact ceiling location.

Selectable 70V and 100V transformer taps allow installers to adjust each speaker's power level based on room size, speaker spacing and available amplifier capacity.

The CM80T uses a flush mount ceiling design with an ABS enclosure and powder coated metal grille for a clean finished appearance.
