The TEXONIC BF106 is a 6″ commercial ceiling speaker designed for background music, paging and voice announcements in business and professional spaces.
It supports 70V and 100V distributed audio systems with selectable transformer taps and features an enclosed metal back housing with fire protection cover. A spring clip mounting system helps simplify installation in prepared ceiling openings.
The BF106 is a practical choice for clinics, medical offices, pharmacies, offices, reception areas, waiting rooms and other commercial interiors where a durable enclosed ceiling speaker is preferred.
Product Overview
The TEXONIC BF106 is designed for commercial background music and paging systems where an enclosed ceiling speaker is preferred.
Its built in metal housing protects the rear of the speaker and provides a more enclosed installation than an open back ceiling speaker. The integrated fire protection cover adds another practical feature for commercial ceiling installations.
The BF106 operates with 70V and 100V distributed audio systems. Selectable transformer connections allow installers to choose the appropriate power level based on the amplifier, room size and number of speakers in the system.
Spring loaded ceiling clamps help secure the BF106 after the ceiling opening has been prepared using the included cutout template.

Connection Notice: Confirm whether the amplifier is operating at 70V or 100V before connecting the speaker.
Use Black as COM and select either the White or Red connection based on the required transformer tap and system voltage.
For systems with multiple speakers, add together the selected wattage of every connected speaker and keep the total load within the amplifier's rated output. Leave suitable amplifier headroom for reliable commercial operation.
Installation
Use the supplied cutout template to mark the ceiling opening.
After preparing the opening:
- Connect the speaker wiring using the correct 70V or 100V transformer connection.
- Carefully compress the spring loaded mounting clamps.
- Insert the BF106 into the ceiling opening.
- Allow the clamps to secure the speaker against the ceiling surface.
Take care when handling the spring loaded clamps during installation.
Tap Settings
Select the correct tap based on the amplifier output being used. Match the speaker wiring to the selected 70V or 100V system.
