The TEXONIC 502T is a 5″ commercial in ceiling speaker designed for background music, paging and voice announcements in business and public spaces.
It supports 70V and 100V distributed audio systems as well as compatible 8Ω low impedance amplifiers. A 5″ main driver, 1.5″ high frequency driver, enclosed metal back and flush mount dog ear installation make the 502T a practical choice for hotels, schools, offices, retail spaces, factories, corridors and waiting areas.
Product Overview
The TEXONIC 502T is designed for commercial audio installations that need clear background music and voice paging from a compact ceiling speaker.
Its 5″ main driver and 1.5″ high frequency driver provide a wider audio range than a basic single driver paging speaker, making the 502T suitable for both everyday music and speech reproduction.
For distributed commercial systems, the speaker supports 70V and 100V operation with multiple selectable transformer taps. It can also operate in 8Ω mode with a compatible low-impedance amplifier.
The enclosed metal back helps protect the rear of the speaker and provides a clean, contained ceiling installation. A flush mount dog ear system secures the speaker into the prepared ceiling opening.

Specifications
Connection Notice: Confirm whether the amplifier is operating at 70V, 100V or 8Ω before connecting the speaker.
For 70V/100V installations, select the appropriate transformer tap and add together the wattage of all speakers connected to the amplifier. Keep the combined speaker load within the amplifier's rated output and leave suitable operating headroom.
For 8Ω operation, connect the speaker only to a compatible low-impedance amplifier.
Do not combine 70V/100V transformer operation and 8Ω low-impedance operation on the same speaker line.
Installation: Prepare a 180mm / 7.08″ ceiling opening and confirm that adequate clearance exists above the ceiling for the speaker's metal back enclosure.
Connect the speaker using the required 70V, 100V or 8Ω configuration.
Insert the speaker into the ceiling opening and tighten the dog-ear mounting mechanism evenly until the speaker is held securely against the ceiling surface.
Do not over tighten the mounting hardware.
