Product Overview

Four CH30T horn speaker locations help distribute announcements across separate work areas rather than relying on one or two speakers operating at excessive volume.

The CH30T is designed for clear speech, paging, safety messages and general public address applications.

Its high 113dB sensitivity and focused horn design help project announcements through busy commercial and industrial spaces.

The IP65 enclosure supports properly installed indoor and outdoor applications, while the adjustable mounting bracket allows each speaker to be aimed toward the required listening area.

The EX350D delivers 350W of Class D commercial amplification and provides Bluetooth and USB playback, three microphone inputs and two AUX inputs.

MIC1 is the microphone priority input for important paging announcements. MIC2 and MIC3 operate as standard microphone inputs.

For this package, all four CH30T speakers operate from the amplifier's 100V speaker output. With all four horn speakers set to 30W, the complete speaker load is 120W.

CH30T Speaker Tap Example

For many general paging applications, start with the 15W tap.

Use the 30W tap where stronger paging output is required because of distance, speaker placement or higher background noise.

Always add together the selected wattage of every connected speaker before powering the system.

Keep the combined speaker load within the amplifier's rated output and leave suitable operating headroom.

Basic 100V Speaker Wiring

  1. Connect the EX350D 100V and COM terminals to the CH30T speaker line.
  2. Connect all four horn speakers in parallel.
  3. Maintain consistent speaker-line polarity throughout the installation.
  4. Confirm the transformer tap setting on every CH30T before powering the amplifier.
  5. Use only one EX350D speaker output type at a time. Do not combine the 70V, 100V and 8–16Ω outputs.
Important: Turn off the amplifier before connecting speakers, changing tap settings or servicing the speaker line.
Installation Note: Permanent commercial speaker wiring and mounting should follow applicable electrical, building, fire and structural requirements. Secure each CH30T to a suitable structural surface, protect cable connections and aim the horn toward the intended coverage area.
Product Note: The CH30T is designed mainly for speech paging, safety messages and announcements. For applications where music quality is the priority, use a suitable full range commercial ceiling, wall or pendant speaker.
