The TEXONIC EX240D paging system combines a 240W commercial mixer amplifier with three TEXONIC CH30T 30W IP65 paging horn speakers for clear announcements across warehouses, workshops, loading areas, factories, service yards, parking areas and outdoor work zones.

The three horn layout helps distribute paging coverage across separate work areas while the EX240D provides Bluetooth and USB playback, three microphone inputs and ample amplifier capacity for the connected speakers.

Product Overview

This package is designed for commercial and industrial properties where announcements need to reach several work areas without relying on one excessively loud paging point.

Three CH30T horn speakers can be positioned around the property to provide focused directional speech coverage in areas such as loading bays, workshops, service yards, warehouse aisles or parking areas.

The CH30T is designed mainly for paging, safety messages, staff calls and general public-address use.

Its IP65 rated enclosure supports properly installed indoor and outdoor commercial applications, while the adjustable mounting bracket allows each horn to be aimed toward its intended coverage area.

The TEXONIC EX240D supplies 240W of Class D commercial amplification. It provides three microphone inputs. MIC1 is the microphone-priority input for important paging announcements, while MIC2 and MIC3 operate as standard microphone inputs.

Two AUX inputs allow additional line level audio sources to be connected. With all three CH30T horn speakers set to the maximum 30W 100V tap, the combined speaker load is 90W.

CH30T Speaker Tap Example

For many general paging applications, begin with the 15W tap.

Use the 30W setting where greater voice output is required because of speaker distance, placement or higher ambient noise.

Add together the selected wattage of every speaker connected to the 100V line before powering the system.

Keep the combined speaker load within the amplifier's rated output and leave suitable operating headroom.

Basic 100V Speaker Wiring

  1. Connect the EX240D 100V and COM speaker terminals to the CH30T speaker circuit.
  2. Wire all three horn speakers in parallel.
  3. Maintain consistent speaker-line polarity throughout the installation.
  4. Confirm the selected transformer tap on every CH30T before switching on the amplifier.
  5. Do not operate the EX240D 100V and 8–16Ω outputs together.
Important: Turn off the amplifier before connecting speakers, changing tap settings or servicing the speaker line.
Installation Note: Secure each horn speaker to a suitable structural surface and aim it toward the intended listening area. For outdoor installations, protect speaker wiring and cable connections and follow applicable electrical, building, fire and structural requirements.
Product Note: The CH30T is designed primarily for voice paging and announcements rather than full-range music reproduction.
