Designed as a practical 100V distributed paging system, this package provides strong directional voice projection, weather resistant horn speakers and substantial amplifier capacity for future system expansion.

Product Overview

This package is designed for smaller commercial and industrial properties where paging and announcements need to remain clear across distance or through normal workplace noise.

The two CH30T horn speakers provide focused directional voice projection for staff calls, safety messages, operational announcements and general public-address use.

Each CH30T features an IP65-rated enclosure for properly installed indoor and outdoor commercial applications. The adjustable mounting bracket allows each horn to be aimed toward the required listening area.

The TEXONIC EX240D provides 240W of Class-D commercial amplification together with Bluetooth and USB playback, three microphone inputs and two AUX inputs.

MIC1 is the microphone-priority input for important paging announcements. MIC2 and MIC3 operate as standard microphone inputs.

For this package, the CH30T speakers connect to the EX240D 100V and COM speaker terminals. With both CH30T speakers set to the maximum 30W 100V tap, the combined speaker load is 60W.

CH30T Speaker Tap Example

For many paging applications, the 15W setting is a practical starting point.

Use the 30W tap where stronger paging output is required because of distance, speaker placement or higher background noise.

Add together the selected wattage of every speaker connected to the 100V line.

Keep the combined speaker load within the amplifier's rated output and leave suitable operating headroom.

Basic 100V Speaker Wiring

  1. Connect the EX240D 100V terminal to the positive speaker line and COM to the common speaker line.
  2. Connect both CH30T horn speakers in parallel along the same 100V speaker circuit.
  3. Maintain consistent speaker-line polarity throughout the installation.
  4. Confirm that every CH30T is set to the correct 100V transformer tap before powering the system.
  5. Use only one amplifier speaker-output type at a time. Do not operate the EX240D 100V and 8–16Ω outputs together.
Important: Turn off the amplifier before connecting speakers, changing tap settings or servicing the speaker line.
Installation Note: Secure each horn speaker to a suitable structural surface and aim it toward the intended listening area. For outdoor installations, protect speaker wiring and cable connections and follow applicable electrical, building, fire and structural requirements.
Product Note: The CH30T is designed primarily for paging, announcements and public address use rather than full range background music.
