Product Overview

This DXT60 and CM60T package is designed for smaller commercial areas that need simple background music without a complicated audio rack. The DXT60 combines source playback, microphone mixing, and amplification in one compact unit.

Three ceiling speakers can be placed across the room to help reduce loud and quiet spots. This creates a more comfortable atmosphere for customers and staff compared with using one speaker at a high volume.

Installation Reminder: Permanent speaker wiring should meet applicable Canadian electrical, building, and fire requirements.

Three-Speaker Tap Examples

Maintain at least 20% amplifier headroom. The recommended connected speaker load should remain at or below 80% of the DXT60’s 60W output.

3 × 7.5W 22.5W Recommended for normal office or retail use

3 × 30W at 100V 90W Do not use — exceeds amplifier capacity
Suggested starting setting: Use three CM60T speakers at 7.5W each for a total load of 22.5W.
