The TEXONIC PZ50 is a 5″ two-way commercial pendant speaker designed for clear background music and voice reproduction in open-ceiling and high-ceiling spaces.
It combines a 5″ woofer with a 1.5″ tweeter and supports 70V/100V distributed audio systems with selectable transformer taps. At 70V, the speaker provides 1.25W, 2.5W and 5W settings. At 100V, it provides 2.5W, 5W and 10W settings.
Available in black or white, the PZ50 is a practical choice for restaurants, cafés, retail stores, offices, lounges, showrooms, gyms and hospitality spaces.
Product Overview
The TEXONIC PZ50 is designed for commercial spaces where conventional flush mounted ceiling speakers are not practical or where a suspended speaker better suits the interior.
Its two-way design combines a 5″ woofer for mid and lower frequencies with a 1.5″ tweeter for high frequency detail. This makes the PZ50 suitable for both comfortable background music and general voice announcements.
The speaker works with 70V and 100V distributed audio systems. Selectable transformer wiring allows the installer to choose the appropriate power level based on room size, speaker spacing and available amplifier capacity.
For a 70V system, the available taps are 1.25W, 2.5W and 5W. For a 100V system, the available taps are 2.5W, 5W and 10W.
The suspended design works particularly well with exposed ceilings, open structures and modern commercial interiors. PZ50B provides a black finish for darker or industrial style ceilings, while PZ50W provides a white finish for brighter interiors.

Specifications
Connection Notice: Blue is the common connection. Select the Green, Yellow or Red wire based on the required wattage and whether the amplifier is operating at 70V or 100V.
Add the wattage of all connected speakers and keep the combined speaker load within the amplifier's rated output. Leave suitable amplifier headroom for reliable commercial operation.
Do not use the 70V tap values when calculating a 100V installation, or the 100V values when calculating a 70V installation.
