The TEXONIC DXT60 commercial sound system includes one 60W commercial amplifier and three PZ50 pendant speakers for comfortable background music in smaller open-ceiling business spaces.

This package is well suited for Canadian cafés, boutiques, reception areas, small offices, studio spaces, and hospitality areas where suspended pendant speakers provide a cleaner installation than conventional in-ceiling speakers.

Product Overview

This DXT60 and PZ50 package is designed for open commercial interiors where ceiling tiles are not available or where a suspended speaker style looks better with the room design.

Three downward-facing pendant speakers help deliver music to the occupied area without excessive volume. Staff can select a built-in music source and adjust volume directly from the amplifier for easy daily operation.

Installation Reminder: Ceiling suspension, safety cables, and permanent speaker wiring should meet applicable Canadian electrical, building, and fire requirements.

Three-Speaker Tap Examples

For reliable commercial operation, keep at least 20% amplifier headroom. The recommended speaker load should remain at or below 80% of the DXT60’s rated 60W output.

Tap Selection Total Load Suggested Use
3 × 2.5W 7.5W Suitable for soft background music
3 × 5W 15W Recommended for normal café or office use
2 × 10W + 1 × 5W 25W Suitable when two areas need more output
3 × 10W 30W Safe for higher background music levels
Suggested starting setting: Set all three PZ50 speakers to 5W for a combined 15W load, then increase the taps only when additional output is required.
Use the amplifier’s 70V or 100V output and select a compatible transformer tap on every speaker. Never connect these speakers to the 4Ω or 8Ω terminals while using their transformer settings.
