Commercial 100V Music & Paging System

120W Bluetooth Commercial Music & Paging System with 12 AF206T Ceiling Speakers

The TEXONIC TXP120C12 combines the EX120D 120W commercial mixer amplifier with twelve AF206T two way ceiling speakers for commercial spaces that require more speaker positions and more even distributed coverage.

The EX120D provides Bluetooth playback for convenient wireless music, USB media playback, AUX connections for external audio sources and microphone inputs for paging and announcements. MIC1 provides voice priority so important announcements can take priority over normal background music.

120W EX120D Amplifier 12 × AF206T Ceiling Speakers Bluetooth + USB Playback 100V Music & Paging

Product Overview

This larger distributed ceiling speaker package is designed for businesses that need clear background music and paging across more listening areas from one simple commercial amplifier.

The twelve AF206T speakers use a two-way design with a 6-inch woofer and separate 1-inch tweeter. This provides clearer speech together with balanced music reproduction across restaurants, retail floors, offices, hospitality spaces and other commercial environments.

Each AF206T offers 3W and 6W transformer taps at 100V. With all twelve speakers operating at the maximum 6W setting, the combined load is 72W, providing comfortable operating headroom from the EX120D's 120W rated output.

Best For Restaurants, larger retail floors, offices, hospitality areas, showrooms, reception areas and other business spaces requiring multiple ceiling-speaker positions.
System Fit Commercial 100V systems requiring distributed background music together with microphone paging and announcements.

Speaker Load & Amplifier Headroom

The AF206T provides two selectable power settings when connected to the EX120D 100V speaker output.

AF206T Tap Setting Speaker Quantity Total Speaker Load
3W @ 100V 12 36W
6W @ 100V 12 72W
12 speakers × 6W = 72W total speaker load

With the speakers set to the maximum 6W tap, the 72W combined load uses 60% of the EX120D's 120W rated output.

A conservative 80% system-planning target for a 120W amplifier is approximately 96W. The 72W maximum speaker load remains comfortably below that target.

Important: Use the AF206T 100V transformer tap when connected to the EX120D 100V output. Do not use the amplifier's 100V and 8–16Ω outputs simultaneously.
Maintain consistent speaker polarity and calculate the complete speaker load before operation.

Setup Notes

  1. Locate the EX120D in a dry and properly ventilated equipment area.
  2. Plan twelve ceiling-speaker positions for even coverage across the required listening areas.
  3. Confirm the 175mm AF206T ceiling cutout before cutting the ceiling openings.
  4. Connect the twelve AF206T speakers in parallel on the 100V distributed speaker line.
  5. Select the appropriate 3W or 6W 100V transformer tap for each speaker.
  6. Calculate the total speaker load and verify the wiring before connecting the speaker line to the EX120D.
  7. Connect Bluetooth, USB, AUX and microphone sources as required.
  8. Power the system with source and master volumes low, then gradually adjust the system to the required listening level.
Actual speaker spacing depends on ceiling height, room shape, background noise, furnishings and the sound level required in each listening area.
